Do I need Meta approval?

Yes for the Cloud API: you need a Meta Business account and approved templates for messages that start a conversation. SG Reach walks you through Embedded Signup.

Who pays Meta's message charges?

Meta bills your WhatsApp Business Account directly at its published rates. SG Reach does not add a markup on Meta charges.

Can I use my existing number?

Yes, if it is not active on the WhatsApp app at the same time. You can also link a regular WhatsApp number by QR for low volume, which is unofficial and not suited to bulk sending.
